The vibrational frequency of LOVE is one of the highest vibrational frequencies we can attune to. So for this practice we will be using the mantra Aham Prema, which means, "I am love," or "I am Divine Love," in combination with the Prana Mudra ~ which increases our staying power and gives us the courage to start something new. This practice also gives us the strength to see things through.
The Practice: Aham Prema + Prana Mudra
Set up your space, perhaps with candles or incense, and have your journal nearby. Set your timer (the Insight Timer app is my favorite) for 5 minutes. Start in the Prana Mudra by bringing your thumb to touch the pinky and ring finger and allow your hands to rest on the tops of the thighs as you sit with a long straight spine. Now begin to connect with your breath. Start with 6-10 breaths (inhale for 3 counts and exhale for 5 counts), which calms the nervous system and grounds the energy down. After counting the breath, add in the mantra, silently or out loud ~ AHAM PREMA. At the end of 5 minutes, bring your hands to your heart center and take 3 breaths, and set an intention for whatever you would like to call into your life next.
